What do we want? We want the A9 to be dualled for the entire stretch between Perth and Inverness.
Why? The A9 is Scotland’s most dangerous road, with the highest road fatality rate in Scotland over the last five years (latest statistics available). It’s also a crucial economic link between the north and south and its dualling would be a major boost for the communities it serves.

At the start of the new year, MSP Murdo Fraser has criticised the SNP Government for failing to take action on dualling the A9 between Perth and Inverness during its two and half of years since being in power.
Murdo Fraser wants the SNP Government to set out a full timetable and costings to A9 dualling in its entirety between Perth and Inverness in 2010.
